What is Covid?
COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
What are the risks?
Common symptoms include moderate to mild respiratory illness. Most people who become infected with the virus recover without special treatment. Some people may develop severe illness and require special treatment. Older people and people with underlying medical conditions such as; diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer and chronic respiratory disease are at higher risk of becoming seriously ill.
Covid can affect anybody at any age.
What are the obligations of care providers?
Care providers have a duty of care to ensure that their customers are safe. To do this, they must ensure that their staff are fully trained and have the correct PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in line with government advice and guidance issued at the time.

Check the provider's Covid policy and ask them what precautions they take to keep you safe.
